Sean Kipp grew up in Cedar Park, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology at Sam Houston State University.

While at Sam Houston, Sean worked as a correctional officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. His experience at TDCJ grew his interest in criminal law and led to his decision to apply to law school.
