Karina attended SMU Dedman School of Law where she received her J.D. degree in May 2019. 

Her accomplishments in law school include being named a master-level advocate by the SMU legal advocacy organization, the Board of Advocates. In January 2019, along with her coach and four teammates, Karina won the national ABA Arbitration Competition in Chicago, Illinois in a case that focused on personal injury. She was undefeated at the regional and national level. Karina was also named the fall 2018 on-campus Negotiations Champion. In the spring of 2018, Karina reached the semi-finals of the regional ABA Client Counseling Competition in Tampa, Florida where the competition focused on civil lawsuits and intentional torts. After that, she attended the national ABA Client Counseling Competition as the team alternate in Raleigh, North Carolina. 

During her time in law school, Karina worked in family law and municipal law. Additionally, she participated in an in-house externship with a Fortune 500 company in the in-house litigation department on employment law matters and corporate law as well as an internship at a local District Attorney’s office. Now, at Rick Davis & Associates, Karina works in family law, assisting clients with divorce and custody matters. 

Before attending law school, Karina received her B.A. in History and a minor in Business Administration, graduating with honors. During her undergraduate years, Karina worked for Rick Davis as a law clerk and she is excited to return to Bryan/College Station to continue serving clients of Rick Davis & Associates.
